Mamoswine Builds and Items

Pokemon Strengths

Mamoswine is, in my opinion, an underrated Defender right now.

You can choose both abilities that have CCs and just wreck someone’s day. That is a TRUE Defender.

Mamoswine has an ability to pick an enemy team and displace them, i.e. move them either towards your team or away from your team.

For team play, this can turn games in your favor.

Also, Mamoswine has a passive where every time you damage an enemy, your Defense and Sp. Def are increased for 5s.

You will be so tanky, it will take forever to get knocked out.

So be the menace of the team - the difference maker in a team full of attackers (we know your teammates keep picking those. ugh…)

Mamoswine does decent damage but you can get caught out if your teammates don't follow up.

You can be shredded if there are at least 3 enemy attackers surrounding you.

Personally, Mamoswine currently doesn't have an obvious weakness so this is a great time to use the Pokemon.

You can use Mamoswine with full defensive items. This is optimal if you have great teammates around you.

Mamoswine can either pick an enemy and peel them off your teammate or even pick a squishy and destroy them.

This is heavily reliant on your teammates though. I suggest the items below.

Recommended held items: Exp Share, Buddy Barrier, Aeos Cookie. You can also replace one item with Focus Band too.

Recommended battle item: Use Potion for survivability. Use this right and you will stay in a fight forever.

You'll be a MENACE.

Recommended Moves: My personal favorite is Icicle Crash and High Horsepower

I love Mamoswine for solo que. You can carry games if you play him right.

It's best if you have one Attack damage item. I pick either Muscle Band or Weakness Policy.

Recommended held items: Buddy Barrier, Aeos Cookie, Weakness Policy (or Muscle Band)

Recommended battle item: Potion is still great for this build.

Recommended Moves: Icicle Crash and High Horsepower, baby!

Mamoswine is super fun to pick an enemy player and just take them out of the battle.

You should always take the enemy squishy most of the time or you can save your teammate from the enemies.

Your job is to annoy the enemy as much as you can with your CCs (Crowd Control).

So just have fun and create chaos. HAHAHAHA
